About Me

Michael Pietrangelo aka Mr. Mayhem is a local high school football journalist, film analyst, & multimedia creator, who has an unrelenting passion for the game of football.  His background as a United States Marine, former player, coach, & student of the game is the catalyst behind his unique but fun approach to sideline reporting. Mr. Mayhem’s desire to lift others in his community is fueled by the lack of exposure and resources available to the student-athletes, school communities, and parents he has met along the way who are trying to better their situations.

Michael is a graduate of Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Shout out to UM class of 03’. After graduation, Michael enrolled at Lock Haven University where he tried to walk on to the football team while majoring in Psychology. After an unsuccessful year, Michael finally realized that he wasn’t as prepared or ready as he thought for college and found himself on academic probation, working full-time, and trying to figure out his next move in life. That move would eventually lead him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps in the summer of 2005.

During his time in the Marine Corps Michael was able to travel the world and went many different places and experienced many different cultures.  One thing that never wavered was his love for the game of football. Though he no longer playing the sport he loved so much, he still wanted to contribute in some way. While continuing to study the game of football in the summer/fall of 2007 Michael began his football coaching career while still on active duty in Pop Warner programs in Okinawa, Japan, and then in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Michael has coached at different levels to include flag, youth tackle, and middle school.

Michael’s coaching career may have ended but it didn’t keep him from continuing to study game film and stay involved in the local area with the student-athletes of Bucks & Montgomery counties.   Attending games, studying hours upon hours of film, keeping close relationships with his local communities, and persistently talking about what he saw on the field via his social media platforms led to his latest opportunity, contributing to Pennsylvania Football News.
